Mukhyamantri Medhavriti Yojana 2024: To promote literacy, the Bihar government is starting a new scheme for the girl students of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category, named Chief Minister Medhavriti Yojana.
Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to eligible girls. Students who pass class 12 with good marks will be provided a maximum benefit of ₹ 15000 under this scheme.

Chief Minister Meritorious Scheme 2024
To encourage women of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category of Bihar state to pursue higher education, Chief Minister Medhavriti Yojana is being started by the Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar. Through this scheme, all the students of the state who have passed the 12th class with the first position will be provided an incentive amount of ₹ 15000.
Let us tell you all that this scheme will only benefit women of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category of Bihar state. Those girls who have passed class 12th with first or second division will be provided incentive amounts of ₹ 15000 and 10000 by the government which will be sent directly to their bank account. The bank account of the girls should already be linked directly to the Aadhaar number so that there is no problem in sending money to their account.
Eligibility for Mukhyamantri Medhavriti Yojana
- The girls must be permanent residents of Bihar state.
- The student must have secured first or second position in class 12th in the year 2024.
- The girls belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category will be provided benefits.
- The bank account of girls should be linked with the Aadhaar number.
- Girls who pass in the first or second division will be given the benefit of this scheme.
